Whispering Pines Yurt, Idaho City, February 16, 2012

And then there were three.....   Our trip was planned to include a couple of other guys, but life got in the way and it ended up being Boster, Randall, and I.  This was our second trip back to Whispering Pines.

Boster and Randall checking out the map.

Birthday present from the Bosters.  I love this game.
Perfect for a group.

Present #2 from the Bosters.  Shortbread cookies
dipped in dark and white chocolate.

After I beat Tim and Brad at Phase 10 we decided to
day hike up to the top of the ridge.

Merrily snowshoeing along.

Just remembered that my new phone has a front
facing camera.

Do not attempt this at home.  I am a professional.

Playing with camera options 1.

Playing with camera options 2.

New snow baskets on my Leki trekking poles.
New MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoes.

I was totally posing for a photo, thinking that Tim
was going to take my picture.  Instead he found the forward
facing camera and psyched me out.

Traditional lunch at Trudy's in Idaho City.

Our waitress Cindy bringing food.  She purposefully avoided
my photo.

Can't beat a Trudy's lunch.
