Bear Valley hot springs is located in the Boise National Forest, Frank Church River of No Return wilderness. It is NW of Lowman, near Stanley off of Hwy. 21. The hot springs is also located near Blue Bunch Mountain which stands at 8734 ft.

This was Greer'r first backpacking trip and I was so excited to share with her my love for the outdoors and backpacking. At 7 years of age she did great with the three miles and hardly ever complained.
Highlight of the trip was sitting in the hot springs around midnight, listening to the river in the background, when Greer saw her first shooting star.
